At Computex 2010, NZXT showed off its new products - a case with the interesting name Phantom, as well as the HALE Power line of power supplies. Phantom has not yet reached Russia, so all the information about it can be gathered from the video:
But about the power supply HALE Power, also shown in this video, much more is known. Read under the cut) ')
This line of power supplies is positioned by NZXT as solutions of gamers, overclockers and other enthusiasts. This can be guessed by the appearance of the blocks. In my memory, this is the first power supply in white, so the design is quite pleasant and inviting. And also about the involvement in the highest echelon of the BP speak and technical characteristics:
- Certificate 80+ Gold: the HALE 90 series from NZXT works with very high efficiency, with loads of 20%, 50% and 100% efficiency is 87%, 90% and 87%, respectively. - A large 140 mm fan with double ball bearings ensures low noise levels even at full load. 20 dB for 550-750 W and 30 dB for 850 W and above. - Design with one powerful line + 12V: one power line + 12V provides ease of use and stability even at high loads. - The topology of the chain Hybrid LLC allows you to create highly efficient power supplies with power from 550 W to 1000 W. - 100% Japanese capacitors: high quality components for long and stable operation. - Modular design of cables: modular design of cables allows the user to connect only those cables that he really needs, thereby optimizing the air flow inside the case. - Support for the latest processors from Intel and AMD, such as Core i7, i5 and AMD Phenom II X4, X3. - Support for the latest video cards: power supplies have 8-pin PCI-E and 8 (6 + 2) -pin PCI-E connectors, so they are perfect for new DX11 video cards. - Support for large enclosures: the HALE series of power supplies is equipped with extended 8-pin CPU cables for the case of using large enclosures with a lower power supply. - Compatibility with standards ATX 12V v2.2, EPS 12V v2.91 and SSI EPS 12V v2.92. - Environmental friendliness: BPs consume less than 1 W of electricity when the computer is turned off, they are compatible with the latest EuP requirements and the USA Energy star standard. - Constant power: the declared power values for the HALE 90 series are based on a long operating time under given loads. - Security features: HALE series has protection against short circuit, overvoltage, current and power, as well as protection against low voltage. In these cases, the power supply is automatically shut down to avoid damage to the system. - Design with active PFC allows power supplies to operate at input voltages from 100 V to 250 V.
Actually, your opinion is interesting, what do you think about new NZXT products?
