CERN supports Creative Commons

Creative Commons announces with great honor the corporate support of CERN at the “creator level”. CERN is one of the leading scientific institutions in the world - the home of the Large Hadron Collider and the birthplace of the web. This donation comes in connection with the publication of the first results of the LHC experiments under Creative Commons licenses.

CERN has become an advocate of Creative Commons to recognize the contribution its licenses make to accelerate scientific contacts and simplify the way researchers can share their work. The Creative Commons Attribution license is an important tool for publishing CERN experiments.
