Library for working with Blu-Ray from the creators of VLC
It was presented not so long ago in the VideoLAN project. Library developers are the Doom9 team.
The new library is notable for its limited dependencies, and the main goal is to integrate work with BD disks into various media players for Mac OS X, Linux, and Windows platforms. Already, it supports navigation, work with playlists and disc menus, as well as BD-J (advanced bonus materials technology, can use network connections and much more).
The most important thing is that this library has a free license; it does not violate any DRM, and we will keep silent about the impossibility of playing discs protected by AACS and BD + technologies. It is not necessary to mention that its output means the ability to refuse to use completely closed, not quite convenient commercial players and use your favorite MPC / MPlayer / VLC / <substitute the necessary>.
