In the block “The best for 24 hours” it is appropriate to indicate the number of comments left to blog posts.
At present, on the “ New ” page I see two blocks (one under the other): “The best in 24 hours” and behind it “Live broadcast”. At the same time, the “Live” shows the number of comments left to each of the blog entries mentioned there - and there is no “Best of 24 hours”.
It is not harmonious and uncomfortable. You cannot see the number in order to estimate in advance the time required to read the entire page (and with it the traffic). You can not remember the number, to subsequently assess how much discussion has managed to develop over time. You cannot compare the one-dimensional scale of the best records (sorted by their rating) with their popularity among commentators. And so on.
Therefore, I propose that in the block “The best in 24 hours” indicate the number of comments left by readers to each of the blogs indicated in this block.
