Electronic accounting to the masses

The Federation Council approved a law designed to ensure greater use of electronic documents in tax legal relations. It permits issuing invoices , as well as submitting applications and declarations to the tax authorities in electronic form .

The new law introduces a number of significant changes to the Tax Code of the Russian Federation. For example, it allows you to issue and send invoices in electronic form . According to this law, organizations can exchange electronic documents by mutual agreement if the parties have compatible technical means and facilities for receiving and processing invoices. In order for documents transmitted in electronic form to have legal force, they must be signed with an electronic digital signature of the head of the organization or another authorized person. The procedure for issuing and receiving invoices in electronic form will be established by the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation.
