I had an unpleasant situation, the laptop broke and I had to take it under warranty to the M-Video service ... after which the next day all the passwords stored in the browser, including from two Yandex accounts, were stolen.
One can argue a lot about whether the author is a sucker or not a sucker, whether it is normal to keep saved passwords on a home laptop or is it completely inadequate. I don’t want to tell about it, but about the significance of messages in social networks.

I appealed to the client department of M-Video with a wish to calculate the rat that they sat there, and sent me to the forest with it. Then I published a post in LiveJournal ... several of my friends responded to it ... Since I was registered with the Hyde Park, I decided to post a message there. This network is very young, but the creators of Hydepark write that this is the most useful social network for mature people, where the message will not be ignored. The post really found a public outcry: gidepark.ru/post/article/index/id/81088 I received a lot of feedback ... of course, a lot of people accused me of being stupid about storing passwords, many sympathized.
The most important thing is that literally an hour after the post was published, the M-Video management contacted me and announced the start of an internal investigation!

I was very impressed with the reaction time of the M-Video staff to the message in Guidepark. It is quite possible, if I found them in another network, the reaction time would be the same, I did not try to check. It is important that posts in social networks work - they help to be heard not to the stars and not to the oligarchs, but to the most ordinary people.
