HTC Ace - the future Android-flagship from HTC

No sooner had new items from competitors appear on the shelves, and HTC is already actively preparing a multimedia Android-flagship. Reasonably reliable sources indicate that the new HTC Ace Android smartphone will be announced and will be available in October under the name HTC Desire HD. At the moment, the approximate technical characteristics of the device are known:

• 4.3 "WVGA touchscreen display.
• 8 MPx camera as well as front camera.
• Qualcomm Snapdragon processor with a frequency of 1-1.2 GHz.
• 4 GB of internal memory, as well as support for microSDHC memory cards up to 32 GB.
• SRS Suround Sound support.
• Unibody aluminum housing.

Displays for the device will be made by Sony technology Super LCD, which promises comparable to the AMOLED panels from Samsung technical and visual characteristics. The aluminum case of the device will be made according to the unibody technology, which will allow achieving excellent durability of the device.

The novelty will be running Android 2.2 Froyo and will be able to record 720p HD-video. In addition, HTC Ace will be able to play video in XVid format, as well as the basic features of the book reader.

At the moment, the appearance of the device remains a mystery, it remains only to hope for the leak of renders in the near future. Autumn promises to be interesting.
