RIAA has spent $ 58 million on claims with P2P users

Contrary to the loud court cases of millions of dollars, the American Association of Record Companies was not as profitable as it seemed at first glance. Only 2% of all those dollars spent on litigation with P2P users returned to the RIAA. Something around $ 1,362,572 was gained from 2006 to 2008 from poor pirates.

It is unlikely that $ 58,258,394 may justify the result of which there is none. Otherwise, of course, everything is going according to plan - you can talk about the death of digital piracy, the triumph of recording studios and their human rights activist, and full respect for copyright.
