Parallels - how to make money on localization

Recently, having decided to support a domestic software vendor, I purchased a boxed version of Parallels Desktop for Mac. The trial version installed at that time was already nearing completion, so I decided to simply activate the license key without reinstalling the program.

I prefer English-language interfaces and all applications, and the OS itself, I use with the original (English) localization. What was my surprise when I saw the following inscription when I tried to activate the key (I had the specified version at that time, with US):

Despite the error, the key is perfect for the Russian version, in which, like in others, there is no choice of interface language . It turns out that changing the location is possible only by buying another key.

Having tried to register on the official website of Parallels, I saw that even after changing the password, I can not log in in any way.

After all these adventures, the Parallels paid line of support did not seem to me at all surprising.

Perhaps, at least one of the workers of this wonderful company will appear on Habré and explain such an excellent policy of treating honest customers who do not download their applications from torrents.
