84% of Facebook can give an unknown American

Today there was a very interesting news concerning the well-known social network Facebook and its permanent leader, Mark Zuckerberg. The fact is that, until now, an unknown American, Paul Ceglie, has claimed as much as 84% of the assets of this social network. Recall that not so long ago, Microsoft bought only two percent of Facebook for a couple of hundred million dollars. The total cost of the project is estimated at about 15 billion (although there are other opinions). In any case, Facebook is really worth billions of US dollars. But back to our American.

Paul Ceglie not just presented the rights of the owner of more than half of the assets of the social network. He showed a copy of the contract that was signed between him and the founder of Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg. This contract provides for the creation of a certain site, the working name of which is The Face Book, for which Zuckerberg receives $ 1,000 and Ceglia receives 50% of the assets.
')
For the delay in the contract (ie, for non-compliance with the terms and conditions of the site creation) Ceglia receives 1% for each day of delay. So, Paul Ceglie dates the date of his lawsuit on February 4, 2004, when under the terms of this strange contract, he had to withdraw 84% of the site’s assets.

Interestingly, Ceglie himself and his lawyer, Paul Argenteri, are still silent, without commenting on the current situation. Zuckerberg whilst biting his nails is also silent. A Facebook spokesman has already spoken, saying that "The suit is very frivolous and we will fight resolutely in court." An interesting phrase - after all, why with the frivolous, in the opinion of Facebook, the claim to "seriously fight"?

Whatever it was, and lawyers already rush, comment on the case, saying that the contract itself is very unusual, because it does not specify what should get Zuckerberg except the notorious $ 1000. In addition, in the state of New York, the limitation period for such cases is 6 years, so in any case, Chella was late with a lawsuit for at least six months.

It is worth recalling that now the user base of Facebook is already 500 million people, and continues to grow. If Ceglia ever gets anything, it will be, without a doubt, the most notorious case concerning the Internet sphere in the last few years (if not for all the time in general).

Oh yeah, I almost forgot - Chelä himself is known only for the fact that in 2009 he collected 200 thousand dollars from unsuspecting citizens in exchange for a promise to supply wood pellets, but he did not deliver anything. I wonder if he was a fraud in 2003 and what connects him with Zuckerberg.
