At the end of last month, after weighing all the pro et contra, I decided to connect the Megafon-Login tariff, and the tariff option to it - Real Unlimited . 400 rubles, albeit at low speed - what we need. Check email, use Google maps, twitter and more.

Immediately decided to check the performance of all that ponastavil on the phone.
For some reason, the start page of the megaphone has opened in the browser.
Slick (ICQ-Jabber client) issued an error with a piece of HTML-page, but then it got wrong.
Handy Weather refused to update the weather, saying "The operator does not allow to receive information"
All right, I think, something else was not registered.

Got a response with this content:

From June 7, 2010 to subscribers of MegaFon TP - Login, when you first access the Internet, a special page is set as the homepage.
In order for the “New Subscriber's Page” not to appear as a start page, you should click the “Start” button, which is located in the upper right corner of the window.
If this page is not added to your bookmarks, the next time you open the browser, the page that you set as Home will be opened.

I saw this button, by the way, only on the laptop, and only on the Mac, I pressed it - it does not help. New session - again the start page.
Linux laptop at the sight of the Internet immediately updates the weather, so redirects are not visible.
On the phone and in the native browser and in Opera, the button is not visible.

I sent the answer, said it does not help.

At the moment, work is being carried out in the North-West branch of OJSC “Megaphone”, and therefore there is a lack of the ability to disable automatic redirection to the site with the user’s page. We apologize for the temporary inconvenience, in the near future the situation will be corrected.

I went to the main office of Megafon, which is on the Artillery. The joyful manager showed me the news from 07.06, on the basis of which, in his opinion, it is impossible to get rid of the starting page:

MegaFon presents a new convenient way to connect tariff options for mobile Internet! From June 7, 2010, subscribers of the MegaFon-Login tariff plan can use a special start page to order a tariff option, quickly get information about Internet tariffs, find out about how to pay the bill.

The main advantage of the novelty is that if you are connected to a tariff option that restricts traffic or speed, you can easily “extend” the speed of the Internet connection or purchase a new traffic quota by selecting the appropriate option directly on the home page. When the quota-based Internet option expires, you will “go” to the home page automatically.

1. “Notarized screenshots” of tariff plan pages and options in which this restriction is not specified are removed.
2. I talked to a lawyer, in his opinion, a violation of the ZOZPP Article 8 is evident.
