Short links in Google Maps

Links to Google Maps are very long due to the fact that they include many parameters. They are too long to be added to Twitter or to some article.

To solve this problem, Google Maps Labs introduced the “Short URL” function, thanks to which when you click on a short link is shown. To do this, use the Google URL Shortener with the addition of the fragment "/ maps" in the URL.
