China's largest offshore software developer Bleum Inc.
announced the recruitment of US employees who could work in support services for American and European customers. Mandatory requirement for each candidate - IQ above 125.
The company's intelligence tests are carried out as the first stage of selection. Then follow the tests of professional qualities and interview. As a result, no more than 1% of applicants are hired to work at Bleum.
Such a candidate verification system has proven its effectiveness in China, where Bleum has long been conducting intelligence tests. But the requirements for the Chinese are even stricter: there a potential employee must have an IQ higher than 140, and also pass an exam for English (the highest mark corresponds to the complete neutralization of the accent).

Every year, Chinese universities graduate 300,000 programmers. Such strict rules for filtering employees are simply necessary in a country with such a huge labor market, where most candidates do not have work experience. High IQ, in the opinion of the employer, should compensate for this lack of experience.
