Blogger stats

While some users of the Blogger blog platform are already using Google Analytics or other third-party tools to track their blog traffic, many have asked for an easier-to-use tool. So, in the test version of Blogger (also known as Blogger in Draft or Blogger's Draft) , built-in statistics appeared . You do not need to install or configure anything - just go to draft.blogger.com , and you will notice a new tab - Stats ("Statistics").

The most interesting thing about Blogger Stats is that the service monitors and analyzes visitor traffic in near real time. Almost in real time, you can see which posts are getting the most visited, which sites direct traffic to your blog. For example, if your reader gave a link to your post on Twitter and the link received a lot of clicks, you will see an almost instant increase in traffic on Blogger Stats and see a specific tweet that was identified as the source of traffic. Of course, traffic data for longer periods (day / week / month) and for all time is also available.

Many other data are also tracked, such as popular search keywords that lead visitors to you, from which countries your visitors come to, and which browsers they use. In general, with Blogger Stats, you know what's happening with your blog right now.

The new feature shows all this data in a simple, easy-to-read graphical interface. Since Blogger Stats is part of Blogger, you do not have to register with other services, or insert any code into a gadget.

Of course, if you wish, you can continue to use Google Analytics. It is worth noting that the data in Blogger Stats and Google Analytics may sometimes not coincide due to different mechanisms of their work. In addition, Blogger Stats does not support private blogs at this time.
