Lunar Tweet: project to support the Russian team in the lunar race

Lunar Tweet is a project supporting the Selenokhod team, the only Russian participant in the Google Lunar X PRIZE contest. The project was created in the Internet laboratory of KSAN - this is our contribution to the Russian private Cosmos.

On the Lunar Tweet website, you can send your message to the Earth satellite: it will go to the Moon on board the Selenohod. Messages will be packaged in a special capsule or be broken by microprinting on a metal plate.
Each message is the help and support of the Selenokhod project. The amount of support in each message is 150 rubles.

The goal of the Google Lunar X PRIZE competition is to create the first private moon rover in history, who must go to the moon before the end of 2012 and fulfill a number of conditions: drive 500 m, transfer high-definition photos and videos to Earth, find water on the moon, traces of previous missions and so on.

The prize fund is $ 30 million.
