The other day I purchased a
Microsoft Arc Keyboard wireless keyboard and here I’ll share my impressions of it.
The keyboard comes with two AAA batteries, a USB receiver (a very tiny one), and a cloth envelope for the keyboard. In addition, the box has a book with a user manual. There are no disks in the kit, and I did not have to install anything to work. However, you can download IntelliType Pro support software from

The size of the keyboard is very small: 31.1 cm by 15.3 cm, it was bought precisely because of its size. The keyboard is comfortable to hold with one hand and dial with the other. The weight of the Arc Keyboard is almost not felt, the keyboard is really very light.

The design of the keyboard corresponds to the name - the curved arch of the keypad looks great on the table, and even when you hold it in your hands, the keyboard is pleasing to the eye.

On the back of the keyboard there is a small magnetized compartment for the USB receiver, to which the receiver sticks when you want to remove or move the keyboard.

The keyboard has the following features:
- The arrows buttons are combined into a kind of joystick , which caused doubts in the ease of use at first glance, but in fact it turned out that working with this joystick was easy and simple. It is believed that other manufacturers of keyboards and even small laptops or netbooks can adopt this solution, since such a solution saves a lot of space while offering the standard size of a universal button;
- the keyboard has sound control keys;
- Keyboard is activated by pressing Fn + Esc;
- there are only six function keys on the keyboard, the other six are emulated by pressing the Fn key combination;
- all keys are full-sized, enter and shift are large;
- The home, end, PgUp, PgDn, and Delete keys are brought up to reduce the size of the keyboard in width;
- I type these lines with a new keyboard and make a few mistakes because I am not used to its bends. The keystroke in the Arc Keyboard is excellent, the presses are quiet. Very pleased with the significant gap between the buttons. The only thing that can confuse this keyboard is a glossy surface. However, the keys themselves are dull, pleasant and velvet to the touch, but the rest of the surface is glossy and very sensitive to fingerprints.

Conclusion
I really liked the keyboard. Easy, miniature and wireless - it is just suitable for remote control of a laptop when it is connected to a TV via HDMI. It was for this purpose that she bought. Recommend.
PS: the price of the keyboard can vary in stores, but I got it for 2500 rubles.
