So, to submit an application to Google News, there is a special form . No contact numbers, email or real addresses for the evil empire of Google, apparently, does not exist in principle. We tried to connect a regular site, so we are only talking about the requirements set out on the first link from a letter from Google.
Comparing requests from Google and Yandex (Yandex’s requirements are published here ):

• Yandex’s main demand is a RSS 2.0 full-text stream with its own specifics.
• Google's requirements are in addition to the RSS feed, a number of requirements for the URL structure of the site — for example:
  • at least 3-digit unique number in the URL, not like a year - farewell index - we decided simply: url a line like: ... "100" .id_ news
  • A special URL format for forums and comments — especially nice for CMS — while it was recommended to rewrite URL addresses, it was impossible to advise, for example, to resolve the issue via robots.txt:

Process

So, on April 1 (this is not a joke) they launched the site, filled it with initial news (transferred the most interesting publications from their own newspaper, gave the latest news), started working for the resource, and about 10 numbers sent requests to Novotek (by mail info @ novoteka.ru), Yandex (by mail info@news.yandex.ru) and Google (via the form ):

Google: Eh, road, dust and fog ...

Cold, anxiety, yes steppe weeds:

• The answer to our first request through a special form has not yet come (in principle, not so much time has passed since April 10, yeah ...)
• Attempting to write directly to “Google News email” had the same results (“Don't chat!”?)
• The third attempt, through the same ill-fated form, was taken on June 26: filled out, received an email, confirmed compliance with the requirements.

Undoubtedly, any organization has the right to establish its own rules according to which they will work - that is their right.

The question is different:

• Why are the requirements for which this organization works are not indicated anywhere ?
• Why to get an answer you need to hammer, like a woodpecker on concrete?
• Why isn't the “List of authors and publishers on your site” field listed as required in the request form for Google News?
• Why in the form for the request there are no conditions for specifying Jur. the person, the parameters of the size of the secretary, the address of the office and the list of its constantly inhabiting "plankton"?
• Why was it necessary to introduce hidden, nowhere else announced conditions for cooperation?
• Could Sergey Brin himself start cooperating with his current Google at the beginning of his journey?

Conclusion

Each makes its own conclusions. My IMHO is:

1. Yandex and Novotek need partners with real-time news, Google - “for the suit to sit”
2. Once again, “knock on Google” is never superfluous
3. Google should not expect speed
4. The latest condition from Google does not happen
5. The rules of etiquette (sign letters of the form "Last Name-First" - as they do, for example: Yandex, Microsoft) are not followed by Google, limiting themselves to the faceless "Google Team"
