Dead iPhone widgets

For two years of using my iPhone, some thoughts about its interface have not left me. Namely, the fact that the icons of the widgets on the desktop (springboard) do not know how to display changes in the situation. But from the first version of the firmware, the hope for changes in future updates does not die in me.
