Step out of the sandbox
Periodically I read the sandbox and see decent main topics there. However, the authors never appear on the site. This happens for several reasons:
I propose to introduce for the topics in the sandbox invisible for voting system rating. That is, there are usual arrows for voting, but there is no rating:
Further, after a certain number of votes have been cast, the topic goes to the main blog “Sandbox”, where it is already seen by a much larger number of people, and they also continue to vote and, perhaps, comment. If the topic goes to the minus - it just disappears from the main and from the sandbox. If he gains a certain number of advantages (for example, 100) - the author automatically receives an invite and becomes a full-fledged participant in Habrahabr. The topic itself is transferred to the personal blog of the author and becomes available for transfer to any thematic blog.
All this will allow to replenish the ranks of habrayuzerov new interesting to most people, and not just those whose topic attracted the owner invite. It will also save the authors who have received an invite in the sandbox from having to re-publish a successful topic in the thematic blog.
You can prevent the topic from getting to the main page and immediately give an invite for a certain number of advantages in the sandbox - I think this is much easier to implement.
