For some reason it seems to me that Wikipedia will develop long and hard until it begins to contain the totality of most of the knowledge of humanity. The fact is that I don’t see the reasons why this open project will stop improving and collect more and more new and relevant articles. Commercial projects like You Tube and My Space are likely to have many (?) Competitors in the future. Social networks are growing like mushrooms, large corporations are spending (or will spend) millions on creating resources like You Tube, and hardly anyone will be able
to create a second Wikipedia .
On the English-language Internet, Wikipedia confidently
holds the twelfth place in the ranking of the most visited Internet resources according to Alexa, while in the Russian-language segment of Wikipedia, only
24th place is available . But I am sure that with time, as the quantity and quality of articles increase, which will truly exhaustively explain the subject matter, this resource will rightfully take its place along with a search in Yandex and Google.
