Intel introduced a new robot that knows how to interact with surrounding objects. He was named HERB - Home Exploring Robot Butler (robot butler, exploring the house).
After switching on, the robot begins to recognize objects, register them, build a model of the environment and interact with it, as needed.
The spinning thing on top is a laser that records 3D information, on the basis of which, in fact, builds a model of the environment.
