Microsoft has re-invented the approach to batteries: polarity doesn't matter now
Microsoft periodically experiences ups and downs with its products in recent years, but we are fairly confident that the new technology "InstaLoad" will be somewhere in the gap between "full success" and "the best they have ever done." This technology is going to turn our understanding of the installation of batteries, and allow you to insert them into the device as you like, despite the polarity. This is possible thanks to the patented contact design, which, as they say in Microsoft, “just works” and is compatible with all types of batteries (both standard and rectangular). Moreover, Microsoft is already engaged in licensing for third-party manufacturers, and even offers a royalty-free license for suppliers and manufacturers of affordable products. The truth is still not known when the first devices using this technology will be released, but Microsoft already lists Duracell and manufacturer of flashlights AE Light among partners.
InstaLoad ™ is a battery contact design that does not require special electronics. The InstaLoad ™ system includes a set of positive and negative contacts on both sides, instead of a separate positive one on one side and a negative one on the other.
