The future hangs on you - 2

The week that passed from the previous “Die on the Bright Side” Habra Post, I made measurements of the speed of the mobile Internet in different places of Moscow (I post the results on the website. ) . Yesterday, the Internet from Megafon simply “fell off”.

I tried to figure out what was happening - the modem turns on, shows signs of life, but ... does not work. The connection process can be viewed from 08:17 - within a few minutes (not on the camera, I tried to connect again five or six, the effect is zero) so nothing happens.

I, fortunately, conducted my speed test near the Yandex office (that's where the mobile Internet should have three cars and a trolley!), There are almost two dozen wi-fi networks to choose from (many open), so I calmly got to Megaphone site.
')
This, as it turned out, is only the beginning of the adventure - in the field of view on the main page http://www.megafon.ru there is only one telephone - 0500. Short number. That is, I cannot call from my biline. Ok, we go under the headings - "Feedback" - there is only a form to write a message in technical support. "Connection and payment" - not a hint of a phone number. As a journalist, I go to the heading "Press" - only press releases. Maybe "Subscribers" - the light at the end of the tunnel? Yeah, how can ... The intuitive-incomprehensible interface of the site, as it turned out, has its own special logic - the telephone of the support service is in the tab “About the Company” and then - in, actually, “Contacts” , and then you need to go to “Moscow Region” how did I not immediately guess? .. It was only there that I finally managed to find. If you want to become a subscriber, it is better to record it immediately: (495) 5025500, 5077777, 8 (800) 3330500.

I dialed the first number and finally got to the voice menu ... no, not technical support, but the announcement (in the second video, 03:58): "The specialist will answer you in more than ten minutes ." Comments here, as they say, are superfluous.

The video on YouTube, as you know, can load for no more than 10 minutes, so the whole story was not captured for posterity, I’ll add that “I was on the line” for another 15 minutes, after which I was told that “now all operators are busy And disconnected.

ps In the comments to the first video clip on LiveJournal, I was advised to check the computer for viruses (mac, aha), to see if the USB ports are broken (despite the fact that the Biline modem and the exact same MTS connection are connected to both).

Here it is, the “mobile Internet”, which only takes less than half an hour to check (not to mention the work!). In the center of Moscow. Near a large business and exhibition center, where the largest Internet company of the country is located.
