When you need a cool

One day, my Hedgehog began to get very hot, a quick inspection revealed that the cooler at the CPU had died. Beech warranty, but it was impossible to give it, because how much time he will stay in the repair no one can say, but work is necessary.
I decided to buy a stand, but from the price found on the network did not like the price / quality. As a result, I started to do it myself.
I thought for a long time what would be the basis for the stand, at first the choice fell on plexiglass, but unfortunately, what I found was sold in large sheets (1m X 2m) did not fit again for the price, and by the size - I do not need so much. As a result, the choice fell on the paper tray.

So, we make a stand with active cooling under a netbook / laptop .
Required.
Tray for A4 paper - plastic 1 pc
80mm cooler from 1 to 4 pcs (depending on the desire / need)
Fastener for cooler / s
Insulating tape
USB AB wire
Screwdriver
Marker
Sharp cutting tool (in my case it was a little chisel)
Well, actually a heating device - I have a gas stove.
Attentiveness, patience and accuracy.
Many will ask, why not use a soldering iron or something like that, you can, but unfortunately I didn’t have it at hand and it’s a pity to spoil the chisel easier (IMHO).
The manufacturing process in the pictures is not too detailed, well, I think the essence will be clear.
First mark up the marker where we will have a cooler.
Next, we outline the holes for the screws (it is desirable to take a solid plastic tray, but bending)
and we melt them (for these purposes I used a red-hot nail).
After that, we fasten our cooler and mark the slots, actually through which we will get air (from personal experience I advise you not to bother, since I simply cut the circle faster and more efficiently.)
Cut the hot cutting tool, notice that when cutting on plastic, irregularities are formed, they can be cut off after the cut is cooled, or cleaned with fine emery paper.
Actually cutting object itself.
Next, fasten the cooler and cut off their connectors. We cut off the usb cable of the length we need at the end of it should be a plug, cut it out and find the ground and + (in normal cables they are black and red respectively, but in my case it was China) to find who-is-who is not difficult. Next, we connect the wires of the coolers with the power supply wires, isolate them and the wahl, the stand is ready, it remains only to connect it to the laptop and you can not worry about overheating.
PS because it was all done in artisanal conditions, the quality of performance is lame, but to modify this device. For example, put a metal grill.
