In general, not good. Sony warned that about half a million VAIO laptops can seriously overheat, including burns. The company says that temperature sensors in VAIO F and C series (which were launched in January) may be defective, causing them to overheat and warp. Sony claims that it has received about 40 complaints about this flaw and customers who are “at risk” can download the software fix, or contact the company directly to take their laptops for repair.
