Begin Private Cloud Testing
The network of data centers Selectel announces the beginning of the primary testing of the computing cloud (IaaS) based on the Xen Cloud Platform.
This cloud will allow customers to work in a virtual machine without artificial limitations of performance, with payment on actually consumed resources.
Our final goal is to realize the “ideal cloud”, which was written about earlier in Habré.
To ensure high quality service during normal operation, we plan detailed testing under various types of load, including the real one.

On our own, we will not be able to provide all the variety of loads, because we invite everyone to take part in testing. For you, this is an opportunity to see for free what the clouds look like from the inside, test your projects and see what resources they actually consume.
We currently support two Linux distributions: Debian and CentOS, support for other operating systems at work (including Windows Server).
Testing is closed, to participate in it you need to fill out a form on the site . Testing will be done on a limited-sized cloud, and we want to find the most interesting examples of exploitation, so we will not be able to accept everyone for testing. At the end of testing, we will ask you to give a detailed assessment. Those who significantly help us (filling out the questionnaire, bug reports, suggestions) will receive buns. What - while we do not know, we will clarify in the process.
