On June 22-23, 2010, the
CareerLab Professional Growth Center acted as a training partner of the international
congress on cloud computing technologies .
The congress was attended by: development companies, hosting providers, system integrators, representatives of the banking sector, representatives of various associations and unions.
Today cloud computing is one of the leading IT trends in Russia. Experts note the rapid growth in the use of cloud technologies in the Russian business.
Unfortunately, such a hot topic was not able to collect a large number of participants. Perhaps the high cost, perhaps not quite correctly selected content, perhaps an abnormal heat or the recently launched summer vacation season.

')
Overall - in general, the reports were a bit weak. However, I would like to mention the speeches:
- “Integration of private and public clouds” by Sergey Orlik;
- "Cloud computing. Myths and Reality ”- speaker: Vlad Gabriel;
- The report “Private Cloud - Creating a Dynamic Data Center” by Gaidar Magdanurov.
Problems of hosting, cloud virtualization, solutions for building a Dynamic Data Center, solving problems in the clouds, various scenarios for using optimal profiles, clouds for business and for consumers are the most memorable topics of congressional reports.

Wishes of one of the participants of the congress about what topics I would like to hear at cloud events: “One of the wishes of information system designers (NCC) is to get more detailed and“ mundane ”information on the infrastructure management system of the cloud data center. It is interesting to show a service oriented approach, for example, procedures are interested in how to publish cloud services, how to register user requests and how to provide a service upon request. It would be interesting to learn about the possibilities for creating standardized interfaces for user interaction with the "cloud". As a concrete example of managing the “cloud” infrastructure, it would be interesting to get acquainted with vmware solutions, citrix + microsoft. And also the capabilities of the Microsoft API for creating service-oriented interfaces are interesting - everyone is waiting for the results of creating a Microsoft test bench in Moscow, where you can test and examine with examples specific questions that arise when solving problems in the process of creating a service cloud.

A lot of questions from participants arose on the topic of security, but, unfortunately, there were practically no answers to them. Every year this issue is raised at many conferences, but as practice shows, very few companies can provide correct or universal solutions.
How the “business in the clouds” will be built further - time will tell. We hope that this is not the last event on this topic in 2010.
