Samsung will release 32 GB memory modules

South Korean giant Samsung today proudly unveiled new 32GB LRDIMM memory modules. DDR3 memory with double-sided pins operates at 1333 MHz and is assembled on 72 DRAM chips of 4 Gbps each. Novelty is focused on application in cloud servers and servers working with virtualization.

Mass production of 32 GB LRDIMM battens will begin in the second half of this year.
