I propose to expand the time span / new /

The section / new / (“New”) now includes blog entries published on Habrahabr within the last 24 hours.

Thus, it is convenient to read it only to those who come to Habrahabr several times a day.

It would seem that the daily interval makes this section convenient also for those who drop in on Habrahabr only once a day. But in reality, this is far from the case, because the reader cannot continuously be punctual and look at Habrahabr at the same time of day — and non-punctuality, unfortunately, punishes him with the loss of the ability to read some posts of the previous day.
For example, if a certain reader is used to open Habrahabr at work in the morning after having dealt with urgent work tasks (say, at 9:30), and one day it will be busy a little more than usual in the morning (until 10:30), Won't see unennounced blogs left from 9:30 to 10:30 of the previous day.
')
Another example: if a reader is used to opening Habrahabr in the evening after work and after having dealt with urgent household chores (say, at 20:30), and one day it will be busy at home a little more than usual (until 21:30) it will not see the unannounced blog entries left from 20:30 to 21:30 of the previous day.
I therefore propose to store in the / new / section of the blog for the last 50 hours, and in order to ensure the convenience of viewing the New section for all those readers who visit Habrahabr once a day or even only once every two days.
In addition, it is likely that this measure will eliminate at least one of the many reasons for “peak hours”, during which a new blog post has a markedly less chance of being not only populated, but even generally noticed.
