First place in international competitions in underwater robotics 9th Annual MATE International ROV competition 2010 won the team of Vladivostok! From 24 to 26 June, 9 international underwater robotics competitions were held on the basis of the University of Hawaii in Hawaii. A team from the city of Vladivostok, representing the Institute for Problems of Marine Technologies, Far Eastern State University and Far Eastern State Technical University in Explorer class (advanced level) ranked first. Second place was taken by the team of Long Beach City College of Long Beach. The third place was taken by the Marine Institute and the University of St. Petersburg team of Engineering. John's, Newfoundland, Canada. In addition, this year the team of Bauman University took part in the competition.
