The annual robots competition, which took place in Singapore this time, ended a few days ago. This time the following disciplines were presented:
RoboCupSoccer - football. There is no need to even comment here, the official goal of the RoboCup project: “By the middle of the 21st century, a team of fully autonomous human-like robots of football players must win a football match, following the rules of FIFA, from the winner of the World Championship.”
RoboCupRescue - robots show their capabilities for search and rescue operations during disasters.
RoboCup @ Home - robots perform tasks that are presented to humans every day. In general, home-made robots.
RoboCupJunior - here are robots created and / or programmed by students and schoolchildren under 20 years of age.
