FOSS Fest 2010

From July 29 to August 1, the team of RootUA magazine and the FOSS News newspaper invites you to visit Odessa and take part in the First International Fest of users and free / open source software developers - FOSS Fest 2010 . It is dedicated to the " Day of the system administrator ."

As part of the Fest, a conference will take place, guests will enjoy various activities, as well as a healthy and pleasant holiday by the sea (climbing competitions, football, sea swims, dragging optics ...).

The venue is the closed territory of the training base of the Odessa alpclub on the Black Sea coast, where a tent camp will be set up.

Participants are invited to speak at conferences in one of the following sections:

• Free licenses, technologies and projects.
• Free / open source software in various sectors (education, science, business).
• Free / open source hardware solutions.
• High-performance systems and clusters, cloud computing.
• Free / open source software in web space.

We offer to organize round tables and master classes.

Applications with topics of reports, round tables and workshops are accepted until July 25 . Perhaps absentee participation in the conference.

We invite sponsors. Support of the event will be of interest to companies interested in cooperation with qualified specialists in the field of open technologies, as well as companies supporting and developing free / open source software in Ukraine.
