Screenjelly, Screentoaster or Radmin?

Many have heard, and some, most likely, have used services like ScreenJelly or ScreenToaster . The latter, however, will cease to work completely on July 31, but this is not about us.



The essence of the service is the recording of screencasts from the screen of your computer with the subsequent publication of the video on the service.
When implementing the task of recording from the screen and transfer to the server, the mechanisms of operation of similar services were analyzed.

So, what is needed in order to record a screencast on ScreenJelly and others like them:

3. Enjoy Life Open Firebug and see the light. This small applet does a modest good deed - it raises the local VNC server and with its help sends the desktop screencast to the server.



Does someone need an explanation that with the help of VNC you can not only screen out the screen, but also manage your computer completely? And you have entrusted the applet to do whatever it wants. And it is not known what unscrupulous owners of such a site can do with your computer.

By the way, no such jokes have been noticed for ScreenJelly. But such services are slightly more than dofig.
