Reflections based on the article “There are two misfortunes in Russia - roads and Skolkovo” , made you wonder - why does Russia need this?

So, there is Russia, and there is - ZAO Corporation Russia.

The first is we, the citizens. With our children, households, cats and settlements.
The second is a thriving corporation that owns land with subsoil.
It’s impossible to consider these two Russia as a whole (in terms of goals and objectives). The Corporation has its own tasks and plans. Citizens are interested in it, perhaps, only as a long-term source of human resources.

I can assume that JSC “Brain industry” will be created in Skolkovo, which, by analogy with Gazprom, is intended to monopolize the last unowned mineral in this country.

Taking into account the talk about special rules on the territory of this entity - well, it’s very much like that.

A Corporation may have, for example, such reasons:

First, a very rapid elimination of the technological gap from the leaders. It is really very large and is probably the main threat to the security of the Corporation today. It is possible to eliminate the gap radically, either by purchasing technology (which, as events with Opel show, may not turn out), or by borrowing them in a magical alternative way.
Secondly, it is not enough just to get modern technologies in one way or another. There should be a structure that strictly coordinates the interaction of fundamental science and practical production sphere for the quick adaptation of acquired technologies.

There is simply no other way for the Corporation to break through.

And we are here, who are not lucky to get there (or lucky not to get, because - the old school, how not to assemble a sewing machine, everything comes out a machine gun), with startups we will start up, just like before - by themselves.
