Register with OnLive

After reading this post about OnLive , I became interested in this project. I went for a walk on their website. And of course, I could not get past the ad, offering registrants now, to get a one-year subscription for free.
Followed the link. Although it was written in one of the terms of the agreement that only users from America and the surrounding area can register, I decided to give it a try, and what if they consider Russia their neighborhood ...
"To be eligible for this offer, you must be 18 years of age or older and located within the contiguous United States, provide a valid VISA, MasterCard or Discover card (your credit card will not be charged to take advantage of the free offer) and pass a computer and Internet connection performance test."

I entered my data (well, except that the provider and postal code) and sent a request, not hoping for any development.

My surprise was great when today at half past three in the morning I received a letter from OnLive, telling me that I had been selected from the list of people waiting! The letter offered to continue registration, which I promptly did.

After validating all the data I entered (the address in the US, of course, was left driven in. The rest of the data is real). The system reported that I am registered. Then I had to download the client. Downloaded. The client’s weight is only 544 Kb.
After installation, I was asked to enter my data:

Entering the soap and password, I got the following result:

In our region, you see, this service is not available ...

Well, okay, not a big loss. All the same, I received an annual registration. Suddenly, in the course of a year, it will be possible to get to America, or the developers will be able to open servers for Russia ...

In general, while registration is not over yet, I advise you to join the waiting list. Maybe you are lucky;)

PS I thought up, while the post wrote: maybe you can use it like a thread through a proxy ... Who has any thoughts?

PSS My goal is not to get someone to ... try or hack something, just since they gave me access to the service, I want to test it ...
