World of Tanks - the beginning of the OBT

Good news for all fans of tanks and good online action games - the open beta testing of World of Tanks has started.

Now everyone can take part in large-scale tank battles in the entourage of the Second World War. You can get into the game within a few minutes without filling in the questionnaires; you just need to register and download the game client .

In the first version of the World of Tanks, in the open beta test, players have access to two tank nations (USSR and Germany) and seven cards that are significantly different from each other in their tactical characteristics. Also available is a unique system of "pumping" the crew.

As it became known a couple of days ago, in four months of closed testing of World of Tanks, Wargaming.net received about 40,000 applications from volunteers, and the number of players who simultaneously fought on the World of Tanks fields reached 4,000 people. Up to 12 thousand tankers took part in the game every day, and on average, the player spent 35 battles per day. During the testing period, players took part in more than 400 thousand battles in which 120 million shells were fired and more than 15 million tanks were destroyed.

If you do not know, “World of Tanks” is a client MMORPG in the genre of arcade tank simulator. The game was developed by the Belarusian studio Wargaming.net and is positioned as a multiplayer team action. The game will be shareware (Free2Play), and therefore it is sometimes compared to Battlefield Heroes. The release of World of Tanks is expected shortly.

Well, recently, the developers have published the "trees" of the development of Germany, the USSR and the USA, which will be represented in the game at the time of release.
