New version of Froyo-firmware for Google Nexus One - FRF83

Good day.

I wanted to tell you that just recently there was an update for the official firmware of our (my) beloved Google Nexus One called FRF83.

For users with the firmware version FRF50, you need to download this archive - android.clients.google.com/packages/passion/signed-passion-FRF83-from-FRF50.38d66b26.zip
For users with FRF72 firmware, this archive is android.clients.google.com/packages/passion/signed-passion-FRF83-from-FRF72.684bd56a.zip
')
The update process has not changed:
1. Download the appropriate archive with firmware
2. Rename the file to update.zip
3. Copy the file to the root of the microSD card of your Nexus ONE
4. Turn off the phone, then at the same time hold down the power button and the trackball
5. You will be taken to the “white screen” with the androids on the skates, select “Bootloader” by pressing the off button
6. Select “Recovery” with the volume and power off buttons
7. Your phone will reboot and you will see a screensaver with android and a triangle above it
8. Press simultaneously the button to increase the volume and turn off the phone
9. Now select “Apply sdcard: update.zip”, only use the trackball to confirm your selection.

This is the firmware process, if your phone itself did not detect the possibility of updating, so to speak, a manual process.
By the way, it is possible to “force” the firmware update check, for this type on the phone keypad - * # * # 2432546 # * # * (easy to remember by the corresponding letter numbers of the buttons - * # * # checkin # * # *).

While they are talking only about minor improvements, increasing the speed of scrolling sites in the browser and the speed of viewing flash.
We are looking for other changes.
