HP has announced a new netbook for schoolchildren HP Mini 100e

The netbook will have an Atom 455 processor and 1GB RAM. Customers can choose from 3 operating systems: Windows® XP Home, Windows 7 Starter (6), or SuSE Linux (SLED 11). In Windows® XP Home, Windows 7 Starter will be pre-installed by Office 2010 and Microsoft Math, along with educational programs.

It is expected that the price will not exceed 300 dollars.
