New version of "Rambler News"

Rambler released in beta testing a new version of one of its key products - Rambler News . This is one of the first major launches in a series of service updates planned by the company.



The Rambler News design team was a team of Art. Lebedev Studio. In the new "News" the user gets a fresh, convenient and understandable interface with a fundamentally new main page of the project, which allows you to quickly run through the picture of the main events in Russia and the world, with dedicated pages for photo and video of each storyline.

In the new project, the navigation has been expanded and made more visible - now the main headings are 12, and each has thematic subheadings. For those who are distracted and missed information about important events, a “Popular” page has been created - for example, after returning from a vacation, you can view a list of the most popular or most discussed news over the past week in one click.

Expanded and project functionality. For each story, you can leave a comment, as well as evaluate the comments of other users. Also in the new "News" residents of more than 80 Russian regions are automatically offered a separate stream of news related to their hometown. At the same time, the reader always has the opportunity to read the news of any other region from the list or change the default “home” region.
