Equipment
Box
HTC Legend is made in the classic style of HTC. In similar boxes comes
HD2 and
Desire .

In the box were:
- Communicator
- Battery
- 2 GB card
- Charger
- Usb cable
- Wired headset
- Disk
- Any manuals

Not enough of course, there is not even a cover (which was bundled with HD2). And about the car holder even speech does not go.

Appearance
The first feeling that occurs when you take Legend in your hand: “Wow!”. Molded case, bright and juicy AMOLED screen do their job one hundred percent.

The sensor grid, unlike HD2, is completely invisible, but it exists. To see this, it is enough to photograph with a flash.

On the front side is a capacitive AMOLED display with a diagonal of 3.2 ".

The speaker is closed by a grid, under it there is a light indicator. To the right are the sensors.

Just below are the navigation keys: “Home”, “Menu”, “Back” and “Search”. They are not sensory, the course is smooth. On one of the forums I heard the opinion that the combined keys "Back" and "Search" caused inconvenience in use. I did not have such a problem, everything is quite convenient.

Below the keys is the trackball. Unlike Hero, in Legend it is optical. Exactly this is set in Desire. Also the trackball performs the function of a physical key.

In the upper part there is a connector 3.5 on the left, and the on / off button is on the right.

Below - microUsb connector and microphone.

On the right side there are no buttons. The camera turns on programmatically. On the left side - "rocker" to control the volume.

Located behind the camera, flash and speaker.

Now a little about the bottom cover. Since the case is entirely made of aluminum, the battery, SIM card and flash card must be “charged” by opening the bottom cover. It is fastened firmly, the first time I even had to apply a little strength. Then a special mount opens, after which the battery and cards are placed.

Some photos in comparison with Samsung Spica, iPod nano. By the way, Spica was also installed android 2.1, but in my subjective opinion, Legend is faster. Scrolling is smoother, and in general Spica is inferior.

And just in the interior

Since there were no accessories other than a headset, a
Brando C case and a
Motorola P513 autoload were purchased for the Legend.

Conclusion
Before buying, I had a choice - Desire or Legend. And it was not even about money, but about convenience. As a result, I bought a Legend and did not regret it. The screen is very convenient and the diagonal completely suits me, although I was afraid that it would not be enough. The battery clearly lives longer than Desire. And in general, the device is a pleasure when you hold it. This is a really cool fashion phone. Well, a lot of materials have already been written about android and htc sense, so there’s no point in writing about them.
