Metal Gear Solid: Rising - MGS4 prequel

During yesterday's Konami press conference at the E3, some plot details of Metal Gear Solid were revealed: Rising.

The game takes place between Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty and Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots. According to the developers, the new game will explain to the fans of the series, why by the fourth part the protagonist named Raiden became a cybernindian.

Project manager Minesh Kimura (Minesh Kimura) confirmed the above and in addition noted several genre features of the future game. Despite the fact that Metal Gear Solid: Rising can be safely attributed to the hack and slash genre, it will also include stealth elements, in addition, the game will be much “faster” than its predecessors. In addition to Raiden’s main weapon, the sword, the developers promised to give players a few auxiliary ones. So far without specifics.

He completed the presentation of a new project by Shigenobu Matsuyama. Producer-san promised us not to delay the release, but, nevertheless, did not say a word about the date. More detailed consideration of Rising developers have so far postponed. So far it is known only that the novelty will appear on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC platforms.
