At night, Moscow time, the PR department of the Bethesda Softworks publisher confirmed that the release of the promising Brink shooter was postponed to spring 2011.
Recall that the development of the game is engaged in the studio Splash Damage, well known to us for its projects Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory and Enemy Territory: Quake Wars. Brink is based on the id Tech 4 engine (Doom 3 engine) with an updated rendering engine and support for multi-core processors. The game will be released on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and personal computers. By the way, the PC version of Brink will use dedicated servers, while the console versions for online battles will use the standard for consoles peer-to-peer scheme.

The demo version of the shooter was shown at the end of April at a Bethesda event dedicated to preparing for the E3 exhibition. At the same time, the deadlines for putting the object into commercial operation were announced. But, to our deepest regret, we will not see Brink in the fall.
