Android 2.1 has become available for European users of HTC Hero
As they say on Engadget, now European users of HTC Hero can upgrade to Android 2.1.
On the HTC website they write that when the phone receives a notification of the update, simply click OK. The success of the update can be checked by looking at the build number (Home Screen → MENU → Settings → About Phone → Build number). The new build number will be 2.73.405.93 (or 2.73.405.94 for Northern Europe, or 2.73.405.95 for Greece and Ireland).
