Updated satellite images and terrain models in Google Earth
On June 2, 2007, GOOGLE introduced a new raster coverage of the Earth. Virtually the entire territory of Great Britain is now covered with aerial photographs with a resolution of 50 cm. High-detailed QuickBird images with a resolution of 60 cm onto the territory of Europe (including the city of Rostock, where anti-globalists ’protests were held) and other parts of the globe have appeared. Detailed space images of a number of territories in the Antarctic and Arctic (Greenland), cities of the Moscow region appeared - including Serpukhov, Zelenograd, Pushchino science city, and others.
Launch Google Earth and once again look at familiar territories on Earth. There have been obvious improvements!
