Phenom X4 will have four cores, each of which will be equipped with a second-level cache with a volume of 512 KB. In addition, there will be a cache of L3 volume of 2 MB, shared between the cores. In addition to architectural innovations, the Phenom X4 will also carry support for the fast HyperTransport 3.0 bus.
The release of new AMD processors is scheduled for the second half of this year.
