Update Center DoubleGIS - "reboot"
About six months ago we posted a beta version of the Update Center DoubleGIS 1.0.9 on the site. This version was more stable, more convenient, and in some ways even nicer than the Update Center, which at that time was installed by hundreds of thousands of users of DoubleGIS.
However, simultaneously with the advent of this beta version, we made a final and irrevocable decision: never to let it go into release. Instead, we undertook the integration of the Update Center directly into the program (shell) of DoubleGIS, and just yesterday we released the release of DoubleGIS version 3.0.7 with the integrated Update Center.

The release also added a “resume” of distributions in case of disconnection from the Internet at the time of updating DoubleGIS.
As for the old Update Center, if it is installed at your place, open it and update the program shell. In this case, DoubleGIS will be updated to version 3.0.7 and will automatically remove the old Update Center.
And since the Update Center is now part of the DoubleGIS shell, there is no separate shortcut on the desktop and in the Start menu for it. You can open it through the main menu of DoubleGIS.
Integration of the Update Center into the shell is a very important and expected step for us. We plan to further process the version of DoubleGIS 3.0, introducing changes to the interface, which will certainly make working with the program easier and more convenient.
DoubleGIS - electronic directory with a map of the city. It is distributed free of charge in 27 cities of Russia and Ukraine. At the moment, the audience DoubleGIS - 6 million users. In Moscow and St. Petersburg, DoubleGIS is not yet present.
