WCG 2010 - Russia

World Cyber ​​Games are the world's largest computer sports competitions. Ten years ago, in 2000, the first WCG championship took place in Seoul, in which eSports athletes from 17 countries took part. Millions of people are competing now. This year, more than 700 players from 70 countries of the world reached the final, and the total prize pool of World Cyber ​​Games is half a million dollars.

Since the founding of WCG, we have always been the general sponsor and global partner of the tournament. This year, players will try their hand at PC, Xbox consoles and mobile platform. The first qualifying rounds have already begun in Russia ( WCG Russia Preliminary 2010 ). They will be held in 15 regions, including Moscow, St. Petersburg, Nizhny Novgorod, Yekaterinburg. After two months of competition, the best players will arrive in the capital for the All-Russian final. That he will determine the composition of the Russian national team in 2010. The winning team will go to the world final, which will be held in Los Angeles from September 29 to October 3.

In support of the Russian qualifying round of the company, we launched the Samsung Masters online tournament. The first stage, which was attended by the strongest Russian WCG cybersportsmen, took place on April 17, 2010. Players competed in the disciplines of FIFA 2010, Counter-Strike 1.6 and StarCraft: Brood War. The second stage was held on May 15, and now the best players are preparing for the third round, which will be held in June. According to the results of the three stages, cybersportsmen who scored the most points will be able to get into the VIP box of the WCG 2010 All-Russian final, as well as receive valuable prizes from us and tournament partners.

Anyone can come to the final of the Russian part of the event in Moscow. The organizers promise not only direct observation of the game battles, but also entertainment programs: with contests, performances and other things.
