Multiplayer chat in GTalk

I’ve been blind before and I haven’t seen it before, and it’s true that it’s just today (I’ve never seen announcements):

I use Ubuntu + Firefox / Chrome + Gmail + Gtalk (not a separate client - but what is sewn into gmail)
Quite often there was not enough multiplayer chat - for this you had to go to Skype.

And today - I see in the chat window with the user “plus sign”: “Add users to this chat”
