How often does it turn out to combine business with pleasure? For example, free to use a new convenient IT-service and help developers make it better? Pliq.me is the case.
The team of the previously introduced service for converting speech to text for mobile platforms has recently released versions of the program for Symbian and Windows Mobile in external testing, the purpose of which is to attract and record everyone in a closed test group. The project included in the top ten of Russian Startup Chellenge 2010 is a voice interface of a mobile phone: all SMS, e-mails, reminders can be simply dictated, and Pliq.me will do the rest - convert it into text and send it to the specified destination. Today the service offers such features as:
sending text messages and letters recorded by voice: just select the recipient from the phone book, dictate the message text and click on the “Send” button
update using Twitter, Live Journal, Basecamp, Remember the Milk, Evernote, Google Calendar accounts
setting voice reminders and notes: using special voice commands, you can set the date and time of reminders
besides the recognized text, you can only send a voice message: instead of the text, the recipient will receive a link to the recording
