At the end of July beta SP1 will be released for Windows Server 2008 R2 and Windows 7
At Microsoft Tech.Ed North America 2010, which opened on June 7 in New Orleans, it was announced that the public beta testing of the first service pack for Windows Server 2008 R2 and Windows 7 will begin in late July.
The package of updates for the server operating system will include new virtualization technologies - RemoteFX and Dynamic Memory. The first will allow you to get remote access to the system while maintaining the Aero interface and three-dimensional graphics without degrading performance, and the second will provide the Hyper-V virtualization system with a function of dynamic memory redistribution between virtual machines.
But the update package for Windows 7 will contain only previously released updates and patches, as well as additional patches, developed based on feedback from Microsoft users and partners. The company is confident that the release of the first service pack will accelerate the pace of transition of commercial organizations to Windows 7 and will expand its presence in the corporate sector.
